Becki was not your typical 20-something year old. A young carer from the age of 18 when her father was diagnosed with dementia, Becki then tragically later lost her older brother who suddenly suffered a heart attack at only 35. This family tragedy was followed two years later by her father’s passing, while still only in her 20’s and juggling a 40 hour a month qualification on top of a full-time, demanding high-pressure corporate career. Almost 10 years on, this mum shares her experience of what it took to keep going and bounce back when you’ve been subjected to incredible life pressures from all different angles so early in life?
