More about Karen

Karen is a transformational life and parenting coach, an emotional rebalancing and energy alignment therapist and mother of three wonderful sons. She is the founder of Parenting Magic, a parenting method that enables parents to connect and communicate with their children in a conscious and confident way and author of the soon to be published book Parenting Magic: A New Approach to Behaviour & Communication She has spoken on stage at international parenting conferences and has been nominated for two UK national women in business awards. Karen is a qualified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner and Hypnotherapist, life coach, and one of the first Energy Alignment Method mentors to be qualified in the world. She has trained in a variety of transformational modalities and is one of a handful of people who has trained in the UK with Howard Martin and Bruce Cryer the founders of HeartMath Institute. She has worked with thousands of people creating transformation and facilitating change, over the past fourteen years, from being A Rosemary Conley diet and fitness instructor, to a Lifestyle Facilitator for the NHS Primary Care Trust and providing supported lodging for displaced teenagers and fostering. Trained as an actress and with a BA Hons Degree in Drama and Classical Literature (she has had the pleasure of working with some of our best known actors … David Jason, David Tenant, Helena Bonham Carter, she has appeared in well known soaps, dramas, other TV programmes. She has now given up delivering other people’s words and now follows her own script …) A single parent since 2001, raising sons with disabilities, physical and psychological, complex medical conditions and labels she has discovered many ways of creating a fulfilling, loving relationship with her children by synthesizing what she’s learnt from Personal Development, NLP, Hypnotherapy, energy therapies, and incorporating Eastern philosophies and spiritual practices that are the basis for ‘The parenting Magic Method’.
