Episode 21 - How healing from trauma led to painting powerful help for others with Claire Taylor

Sexual assault is a form of unimaginable abuse and unspeakable trauma.  Unspeakable, because trauma locked in our bodies energetically cannot be healed and released by ‘speaking it out’ alone.  This mum’s own story of her determination to find a way to heal led her to discover modalities that worked and also how what felt like “toxic poison” was transformed into “powerful paint” that helped today’s guest paint a whole new beginning and go on to create spaces for other women to access the healing power of creativity to begin their own healing process.

Claire has a successful teaching career of 16 years in which she still continues to teach, along with her Award winning furniture painting business and along with another business partner, she runs the Make you Matter CIC organisation which is a Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub, which aims to provide a range of services & programs to actively engage children, young people & adults.

Claire is also a single mum to one wonderful boy.
